Founded in 2009, just outside Turin, Italy, Neve aims to develop natural, innovative, and creative cosmetics and skincare products. In 2015 Neve Cosmetics found themselves being sued by the Nivea brand because of possible name confusion. As a result, the natural cosmetics brand was even banned. Thanks to their numerous fans, and the wide reach of the internet, a sensational petition with more than 15,000 signatures was launched. The year 2016 brought the year-long debacle to a close, and the Neve company started again from scratch.

Still a relatively young company, Neve specializes in natural mineral-based make-up. Their goal is to produce effective, creative, and colourful cosmetics, and use pure and simple recipes to do so. The products are vegan, and silicone, paraben, petrolatum, and cruelty-free. Not only do they care about the well-being of their many, loyal customers, but also the idea of “non-profit”. With the help of donations, Neve supports various organizations that help people and animals in need. The Italian brand has been able to donate more than 80,000 euros in the past five years for animal welfare. Not only does the company make an effort to show their support for animal rights through donations, but every one of their products is 100% free from animal testing and none of their brushes are made with animal hair.
